Housefox Studios- Photography & Videography Studio Hire - Terms & Conditions

1. General 

1.1 - Housefox Studios is a creative space for dry hire. This means we do not provide staff or assistants to set up or operate the studio space or any equipment supplied with each booking. 

1.2 - The Hiree confirms they obtain the required skills to operate all equipment and studio facilities provided by Housefox Studios.

2. Loading In and Loading Out

2.1 - Load in and load-out times are a part of your scheduled booking, so please be aware of this. The Hiree agrees to stick to their allocated booking times, meaning they will be loaded in and loaded out within these time frames.

2.2 - If a Hiree finds they need to use the studio longer than initially booked, they must contact staff to arrange it. If a staff member cannot be reached for some strange reason, the Hiree agrees to be loaded out by the end of their previously booked time. Additional studio time will be charged at the relative studio hire rate per hour depending on availability.

3. Storage for studio equipment, props, furniture, etc.

3.1 - All studio equipment, props, and furniture have a specific location where these things live within the studio. The Hiree agrees to return all studio gear to its original location at the end of their booking. This means lighting, stands, extension leads, paper rolls, furniture, props, kitchenware, clothes racks, and other studio gear. If you use or move something within the studio, return it to its original place at the end of your booking 

4. Studio Responsibilities/ Liabilities

4.1 -  Upon hiring Housefox Studios, the Hiree accepts full responsibility and liability for any loss or damage to any studio equipment, including the general care of the studio and everything within it. Any losses/damage incurred will be charged at total replacement cost or repair work to the Hiree. 

4.2 - Housefox Studios holds no responsibility for any loss or damage to the Hirees' (or any of their associates') personal belongings or equipment while in the studio or surrounding areas.

4.3 - Housefox Studios holds no responsibility for any injuries acquired by the Hiree or any of their associates within the studio space and surrounding areas. The Hiree agrees to use practical and safe common sense when working within the studio space and surrounding areas and takes full responsibility for the safety of themselves and their associates.

4.4 - Housefox Studios reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of $110 per hour if the studio is left in an excessive mess. This would mean more than just a general tidy-up.

4.5 - If the Hiree holds up another booking from loading in on time for their booking they will be charged a penalty of $110. We are very firm with this so please keep an eye on the time.

5. Cancellation/ Rebooking Policy 

5.1 - All cancellations and rebooking made prior to 48 hours before the scheduled start time will be gladly refunded or rebooked.

5.2 - No refunds will be made for cancellations or rebookings within 48 hours of the scheduled start time. The Hiree forfeits their total booking fee in this case.
